Hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists from around the country will get their motors running to Urban Beach Fest this year. Also known as Black Bike Week or Atlantic Beach Bike Fest, this enormous motorcycle rally will feature special rides, contests, live entertainment, food, and more! Plenty of vendors will be on hand offering souvenirs, T-shirts, and, of course, motorcycles and motorcycle products.
Every kind of bike imaginable, from custom cruisers to thunderous hogs to neon sport bikes to big twins, will be featured. Various parties and other events will be scheduled along Myrtle Beach during the festival - simply follow the unmistakable smell of ocean air and hot barbecue to the Atlantic Beach Bike Festival in Myrtle Beach!
Crowd participation has grown each year, and an estimated 250,000-350,000 people are predicted to be coming to this year’s event. New sponsorship and promoters also promise to bring more activities and details for this year’s event, along with lots of food, fun, and entertainment.

Jason Britton Returning to Red Line Powersports
Top Stunt Bike Rider Jason Britton and the No Limit Stunt Team will be performing at Red Line Powersports on May 23-24. Last year Jason and the No Limit Stunt Team were the hit of Urban Beach Fest and footage from Jason’s Superbikes Show has been seen around the world. Check back later for more updates and times of Jason’s performances.
Hard Rock Park Concert Announced
George Clinton and the Funkadelics will perform live at Hard Rock Park on May 23 during Urban Beach Fest. Make sure you don’t miss this musical legend.
Precious Metals Party
Precious Metals Bike Club's 5th Annual Bikers Bash at 2001 Night Club, Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 9pm. Last year attendance had approximately 100 bike clubs totalling over 1,000 patrons.

Harley-Davidson commits to return to Urban Beach Fest in 2008
Harley-Davidson will return to Myrtle Beach Mall (formerly Colonial Mall) for a second consecutive year during Urban Beach Fest. Attendees can expect to see the newest motorcycles during the Demo Rides, celebrities, live entertainment, give aways, a great fashion show and much more.
Red Line Powersports will once again be central location for Urban Beach Fest.
Red Line Powersports, the Grand Strand’s leader in metric motorcycles, will be the central location for all of the major manufacturers in 2008. Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki are expected to be in attendance. There will also be a full line of vendors providing everything you need for you and your bike.
Some of the best entertainment will also be taking place at Red Line.
Comedy Shows at Myrtle Beach Convention Center
Plans are being finalized for a major comedy show in Myrtle Beach for Urban Beach Fest at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Details are still being worked out, but look for comedienne MO’NIQUE, and Nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show, George Willborn (From the Michael Baisden Radio Show, and Baisden after dark).

Drag Strip to Re-open?
Word around town is that the Drag Strip on Hwy 90 will be open in 2008. One of the area’s most popular attractions during Urban Beach Fest was closed last year. Make sure to check back to confirm the opening of the track and events that will be taking place.

Club Kryptonite, the leader in night club entertainment, will again be one of the top destinations during Urban Beach Fest. Keep checking back for more details. But, definitely plan on checking out the scene while you are in Myrtle Beach
